We on the Blue Waters II strive to be as environmentally conscious as possible. We start by using eco-friendly cleaning products for cleaning and polishing the boat. We strive to recycle empty beverage containers left by the customers. All the oil from the engine oil changes is recycled.
When it comes to fishing, we adhere to the size limits and bag limits as set by the state and federal government. We encourage our anglers to join us in releasing fish – especially sailfish. The taxidermy companies have plenty of molds to produce release mounts. We also try to tag and release all the billfish brought to the boat. The tagging program allows scientists to retrieve information about the migration patterns of the species.
These are just a few of the steps we have taken to be more eco-friendly. We are constantly striving for new ways to make less of an impact on our environment.
